![]() We were asked to put a $350US hold on our room and when we explained that we would prefer not to, she was more than accommodating and understanding. Melissa B was the one who helped us check in and she was good humoured and friendly. RECEPTION/LOBBY: Beautiful and open plan - breezy and spacious. The journey should take you 20-30 minutes. Agree a price with the driver before committing to the journey. There should be plenty of taxis outside the arrivals hall. I would strongly recommend (if you don't have transportation already arranged when you arrive) to get a taxi to the hotel from the airport. The nearest the bus will drop you is the Garrison Savannah and from there it is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel's entrance. Across the road from the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados there is a bus stop (red and white circular sign - look for 'into city') which can take you in the direction of the hotel but it won't drop you off at the front door of the Hilton. ![]() GETTING HERE: There are a couple of transport options that should get you to the hotel. ![]() ![]() Every aspect of the Hilton is magnificent and I hope that in this review I'll be able to share with you a little bit of my experience. This place is a little piece of paradise on the south-west coast of the island. ![]()
